Workout: My fitness Pal
I love this free app because it tells you based your height, weight age, etc. how many calories you need, and allows you to track all the food you so you know if you go over your calorie limit. You simply search for the food and find it in the database. If you go out to eat you can search the restaurant and find it really easy. You can also scan bar-codes of food and it will give you the information for you. It lets you add exercise too which will then give you more calories to consume for the day.
Music: Bandsintown
This free app is great. It uses your Facebook likes to determine the bands and artists you love to listen to, and it tells you when they are coming to your city for a concert. You can RSVP for the concert right on the app, and it will save it in your phone calendar to remind you. You can also buy tickets straight from the app which is really nice.
Sports: Yahoo Sports
I have tried many different free sports apps, but have not been satisfied with any of them until I found this one. This one lets you designate your favorite teams, yes more then one which I love, for each different sport, and it will notify you when something happens regarding that team. You can also get play by plays of the game which is awesome because I don't have a TV so this is a great way to "watch" the games. My favorite thing is that all the sports are under the same app. Before I had to have a baseball app and then a football app. Now I just have this one, and can get updates and scores for both of my favorite sports.
Pictures: PicStich
Besides Instagram which I love, my favorite picture app is PicStich. It allows you to take photos from your phone and turn them into a collage. There so many different templates to choose from and you can do in a matter of seconds. Then you can upload to Instagram directly from the app.
Games: Heads Up
I love having this game on my phone because it is great if you need something quick and easy to play with a group of people. If your waiting to be seated at a restaurant, or have time before a concert you can simply open the app and play. It is great for all ages, and easy enough for everyone to understand.
